The Heart Foundation provides the Heartmoves Leader Training Course for exercise and fitness professionals. The course involves:

Part I: Heartmoves Distance Theory Modules - consisting of 12 theory modules (approximately 14 hours) which you can complete by distance, in your own time and place. These modules can be completed online or by DVD and are supported by a Training Manual. You will receive your online access code after payment and be mailed the Manual and DVD.

Part II: Heartmoves Practical Training Workshop- a 2 day workshop focusing on case studies and practical demonstrations and small group work, where your theory knowledge will be integrated into practical sessions. You must select your Heartmoves Practical Workshop date when registering and please note that a transfer fee applies if you decide to change to another workshop, so choose carefully. Allow enough time to complete the Distance Learning Modules and to submit your assessment at least 1 week prior to your selected Practical Workshop date.
